Earn an Easy 1,500 United MileagePlus Miles with MyPoints

United is offering an easy 1,500 MileagePlus miles with United when you sign up with MyPoints and spend $50 in the first 30 days. You will get 250 MileagePlus miles just for signing up and another 1,250 MileagePlus miles when you spend $50. While I don’t think MyPoints offers as much value as other airline shopping portals, such as United’s own MileagePlus shopping portal.

Right now, stores such as Walmart, Home Depot, Sears or JCPenney are 8 points per dollar at MyPoints, which would earn you 400 points. You can also earn bonus points several different ways, such as downloading their button to your chrome browser. You can start redeeming points for gift cards starting at 480 points for stores such as Amazon or Dunkin Donuts.  You start redeeming your points for United MileagePlus miles at 6,900 points for 2,500 miles.
