From time to time Amazon will run targeted offers for American Express Rewards or Chase Ultimate Rewards members. Usually redeeming points this way is a poor value. This is one of the rare times it makes sense, by redeeming just one point for either 20% off of $15 off.

These offers are targeted so not everyone is eligible. Read below how to activate the offers to see if your eligible.

For American Express Rewards members, you can get 20% off a purchase, up to $100 off. Here is a the short process you will need to follow:

• First you will need to activate the offer HERE (If you haven’t linked your card and AMEX Rewards account you will need to do so)
• Add eligible items to your cart, which is the majority of items in Amazon, even some gift cards!
• At check out, use at least one AMEX Reward point for the discount to apply.

For Chase Ultimate Rewards members, you will receive $15 off a purchase of $60 or more. Here is the short process you will need to follow:

• First you will need to link your card HERE
• Add $60 worth of eligible items to your cart
• Use code URHOLIDAY at checkout
• Use at least one Chase Ultimate Reward point
