New AA Promotion! Earn an Easy 5,000 Miles from American Airlines!!

American Airlines just unveiled a new promotion, AAdvantage 5K Challenge for 5,000 Miles. You have to complete 5 challenges by September 30, 2018. It is a tiered bonus so even if you only do 1 or 2, you can still receive some bonus miles.

As you can see the first 2 are pretty simple. The other 3 aren’t quite as easy. If you are not familiar with AAdvantage eShopping, it is a great and easy way to earn AA miles. If you shop online, you just need to go through the portal to the merchants website. They even have a new eShopping button (sign up for the promotion to get 50 miles for just adding the button) that makes it a lot easier. Just hit the button on your browser and you’re all set. You just need to complete one purchase to complete this challenge.

AAdvantage Dining is another great program, especially if you live in a larger city. If you haven’t signed up for it before, you can earn another 1,000 miles when you spend $25 on your first dine. Complete one dine to meet another challenge.

The remaining three can easily be done if you are planning to fly before September 30th. If you book a hotel through bookaahotels.com you will complete another challenge. If you haven’t rented a car yet, book one through aa.com/cars to complete yet another challenge. The last one is pretty straight forward, simply fly on marketed American Airlines flight.

Even if you aren’t planning any trips you can complete the first 2 challenges for 250 bonus miles, for things you are likely already going to do. If you’re not flying, but planning on taking a trip, book a hotel and boost your bonus to 1,000 while earning even more miles when you book with AA.

American Airline has some of the best discounted award flights among the major airlines. If you have an American Airlines credit card, you are more than likely eligible for a reduced mileage award to certain destinations.
